Acceptance of these terms
By creating an account, accessing FTP, or using an FTP feature, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use FTP. If you use FTP for an organization or channel owner, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization or owner to these terms.
The FTP service
FTP is a team-focused football social platform. It provides community feeds, profiles, posts, comments, messaging, league data, creator graphics, broadcast rooms, live video, and related tools. Some features may require an invitation, an eligible account, a subscription, or a supported third-party account.
Accounts and eligibility
- You must provide accurate account information and keep it current.
- You are responsible for activity under your account and for protecting your sign-in credentials.
- You must meet the minimum age and consent requirements that apply where you live. FTP is not directed to children under 13.
- You may not transfer an account, impersonate another person, or use another person's account without permission.
- Contact FTP promptly if you believe an account or connected provider has been compromised.
Your content
You retain ownership of content you submit to FTP. You grant FTP a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, display, transmit, and distribute that content only as needed to operate, protect, and improve the service and to carry out actions you request. This license ends when the content is deleted from FTP, subject to legal obligations and limited technical processing.
You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit and broadcast your content. You remain responsible for the content, music, video, images, trademarks, personal information, and other material you publish or transmit.
Acceptable use
You may not use FTP to:
- Violate law, another person's rights, or a third-party service's rules.
- Harass, threaten, exploit, defraud, stalk, or endanger another person.
- Post or broadcast unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or malicious material.
- Probe, bypass, disable, or interfere with security, access controls, rate limits, or service operation.
- Scrape, automate, reverse engineer, or resell FTP except where FTP gives written permission or law permits it.
- Use provider credentials, stream destinations, or connected channels without the owner's express authorization.
YouTube integration
By using FTP's YouTube integration, you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.
The integration lets an eligible FTP host authorize a YouTube channel and ask FTP to create, configure, start, monitor, and complete a live broadcast on that channel. Before a broadcast, FTP presents the affected channel and user-selected title, visibility, and audience setting for confirmation. FTP acts only on the connection and settings approved by the user.
The connection owner may invite selected FTP collaborators to choose broadcast titles, visibility, and audience settings and publish from rooms they host. Recipients must accept on Connected accounts before they receive publishing access; they can decline instead. Only the room host can start or end a YouTube-enabled broadcast. Removing collaborator access prevents future starts; a broadcast already confirmed can finish. Provider disconnection is separate and may require related Google connections to be authorized again.
- You may connect only a channel you own or are authorized to manage.
- You remain responsible for channel content, metadata, audience settings, rights clearances, and compliance with YouTube's rules and applicable law.
- Connecting YouTube does not transfer ownership of the channel or content to FTP and does not replace FTP account authentication.
- YouTube or Google may limit, reject, interrupt, or remove a broadcast or revoke API access under their own terms and policies.
- You can disconnect the integration in FTP or revoke it through Google. Data handling and deletion are described in the YouTube section of the Privacy Policy.
Google's treatment of information is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
Optional SMS/MMS notifications
ForThePeople Football (FTP) offers optional automated SMS/MMS notifications about unread private messages, generic room-access alerts, selected social interactions (replies, comments, and mentions), subscribed creators starting a confirmed live stream, and requested game reminders to verified US phone numbers. FTP automatically triggers an alert when a private message remains unread. When available, the alert may include the full message text, uploaded images, shared links, and link-preview titles, descriptions, and images. Content may be shortened or omitted because of message, media, safety, or device limits. Notifications link back to FTP, where users read and reply; SMS replies are not forwarded to the other user. This program does not send advertising or promotional campaigns. Alerts other than unread-message notifications are generic and link back to FTP; they do not include private-message content.
You must control the number you provide. Requesting a verification code authorizes a verification text only. Notification consent is a separate choice in FTP's SMS/MMS notification settings and is not a condition of purchase. Accepting these terms or using FTP does not subscribe you. Existing unread-message consent remains valid for that category. Each additional alert remains off until you review and accept the disclosure covering it and separately enable that alert and its contextual subscription, where applicable.
Message frequency varies with the alert categories you enable. Message and data rates may apply. FTP applies a configurable cooldown between notification attempts and a limit of five per recipient per daily quota window. Quota windows may differ from your local calendar day. Notifications may arrive at any time, including overnight. Delivery may be delayed or unavailable; carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.
Reply STOP to opt out, or turn off notifications in FTP's SMS/MMS notification settings. Reply HELP for help or email info.ftp.dev@gmail.com. A text already submitted for delivery may still arrive after you opt out. To rejoin after STOP, reply START and separately enable notifications in FTP. Remove or update your number before giving it up. See the SMS/MMS section of our Privacy Policy for data handling.
Third-party services
FTP depends on third-party services for authentication, payments, storage, search, live video, analytics, and other functions. Your use of those services may be governed by separate terms and privacy policies. FTP is not responsible for a third party's independent service, content, policy, or decision.
FTP property and feedback
FTP and its licensors retain all rights in the service, software, designs, branding, documentation, and content that FTP provides, excluding user content. These terms do not grant permission to use league, team, Google, YouTube, or other third-party trademarks. If you provide feedback, FTP may use it without restriction or compensation.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using FTP at any time. FTP may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users or the service, address a violation, comply with law or provider requirements, or discontinue a feature. Disconnect third-party services before closing an account when possible. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.
Availability and disclaimers
FTP is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. FTP does not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free data, audience size, broadcast delivery, recording success, or continued availability of any third-party integration. League data may be delayed or corrected. You are responsible for keeping copies of content you cannot afford to lose.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FTP and its operators, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities, arising from use of or inability to use FTP. Any liability that cannot be excluded is limited to the greater of the amount you paid FTP during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or 100 US dollars. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limits, so these limits may not apply to you.
Changes and contact
FTP may update these terms to reflect service, legal, or provider changes. FTP will revise the effective date and provide additional notice when required. Continuing to use FTP after updated terms take effect means you accept them.
Questions about these terms can be sent to info.ftp.dev@gmail.com. You can also return to the homepage or read the Privacy Policy.
